Last week, the SQEP Ltd team came together at Tortworth Court De Vere for our annual Engagement Day – a day designed to step back from day-to-day operations and invest in what makes us stronger together. It was a great day full of honest conversations, shared laughs, and a chance to connect beyond our usual roles.
Through a mix of collaborative activities and company-wide updates, we explored how our shared values — diversification, excellence, growth, and wellbeing – continue to shape our journey.
The day featured:
- Team ice breakers, including “who can create the tallest marshmallow tower” challenge – testing collaboration, communication, and creative thinking
- Interactive team-building sessions, including a blindfolded Lego challenge, with Ali Johnson & Gary McIntosh – focused on trust, communication, and how we support each other
- Company-wide updates on:
- Our charity partnerships and social impact initiatives – Led by Euan Lucie-SmithOngoing STEM engagement and outreach – Led by Andy Petrylak
At SQEP, we believe company culture is more than a concept – it’s the lived experience of our people. Engagement days gave us space to reflect on how we support one another, prioritise mental wellbeing, and continue building a workplace where everyone can thrive.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, shared ideas, and brought energy to every conversation. We all left the day feeling connected, inspired and ready to move forward together.
