On 8 May, we mark VE Day and reflect on the end of conflict in Europe in 1945.
It is a moment to recognise the service, sacrifice and resilience of those who came before us and the lasting impact of their contribution to peace and security.
Many in the defence community have direct or indirect links to military service, and that lived experience often shapes how they see teamwork, duty and leadership today.
We remember the past and recognise the role carried forward by those working in defence today.
