The SQEP team was out in full force this week at DSEI UK – engaging, exploring, and elevating our presence across the defence ecosystem.
Representing SQEP Ltd were Sir Julian Young, Paul Mayo CEng CDir FIMechE FSaRS FIoD, Ash Cudlipp CEng FIET, Nick Cox, and Stuart Henderson CBE, who collectively brought our expertise and mission assurance to the forefront of conversations with industry leaders and innovators. Our team visited and connected with a wide range of organisations including:
- The RAF Stand – always a cornerstone of UK defence capability
- Whitetree, BMT, and Sirius Analysis Limited – where we explored collaborative opportunities in maritime and nuclear domains
- Amentum – who very kindly hosted us at their evening reception
DSEI 2025’s theme, ‘Preparing the Future Force’, couldn’t be more aligned with SQEP’s mission: ensuring operational success and protecting lives on the front line. The event spotlighted:
- Agile acquisition and resilient supply chains.
- Digital transformation as a force multiplier – AI, quantum computing, and autonomous systems are no longer future concepts but today’s battlefield realities.
- Workforce innovation, including hybrid teams and VR-based training.
We were particularly energised by the SME engagement hosted by Dstl, which opened doors for mid-tier companies like ours to connect directly with MOD programme managers and technical experts.
From strategic briefings aboard the Sunborn Yacht to dynamic showcases in the Land Zone, DSEI continues to be the UK’s premier defence event – where ideas meet implementation and partnerships are forged.
A huge thank you to everyone who met with us, shared insights, and explored new possibilities. We’re proud to be part of a community that’s shaping the future of defence.
