On Thursday 4th May 2023, SQEP employees gathered at the Bowden Hall hotel in Gloucester for a day of training, company updates, discussion and team-building.
It was a busy and interesting day for all concerned. Employees were given the latest updates on company progress and direction by the directors, with an open forum for questions and feedback. In turn, the senior leadership team came away with lots of input from the team, who engaged enthusiastically throughout; providing valuable knowledge and alternative perspectives which will help to inform the ongoing development of the company.
However, it wasn’t all work and no play. Thursday evening there was the opportunity to relax and get to know each other socially over a meal, ahead of the Inaugural SQEP Ltd Open Golf Championship on Friday.
Friday started off grey and wet, but 11 hardcore SQEP golfers ranging from complete first timers to accomplished players carried on regardless. Taking on a hilly 18 holes at Painswick Golf Club, it was a close run event but in the end Martin Godwin walked away with the coveted SQEP Open trophy and the title of SQEP Open Golf Champion!… Until next year
