Please join us in welcoming Chris Mayo to SQEP, where he’ll be strengthening our Cyber & IA capability as a new Junior Consultant.
Having recently completed his MSc in Cyber Security at the University of the West of England, Chris developed expertise in threat modelling, risk assessment and management, ethical hacking, and AI & machine learning. During his studies, he also produced a research paper titled A Dynamic Explainable AI Approach for Phishing Detection Using Temporal-Aware Features with LIME and SHAP, which he is now working towards publishing.
In his new role, he’ll work alongside our Secure by Design Lead to help clients and project teams identify and mitigate cyber risks, embed secure-by-design principles, and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks. Chris will play a hands-on role in delivering secure, complex projects while fostering a culture of security awareness across client organisations.

Chris’ arrival further strengthens our Cyber and Information Assurance team, highlighting SQEP’s commitment to providing trusted expertise for our clients. His skills and fresh perspective will be essential in continuing to deliver high-impact solutions across defence and critical national infrastructure programmes. 👏
