The SQEP team recently came together at Tortworth Court for its latest engagement day, continuing the conversation that began in May around Human and the Machine.
This time, the theme was Human First: Performance through People, exploring the relationship between people, technology and performance. As technology continues to change how we work, the theme explored how people, experience and judgement influence the decisions we make and the way work gets done.
The day created space for discussion, feedback and updates on how SQEP is developing and where the business is heading. Our You Said, We Did section also gave colleagues the opportunity to see what had changed in response to previous feedback.
We were also joined by Amy Tattersall from Alzheimer’s Society, our charity of the year, who shared her perspective with the team as part of the day’s programme.
For SQEP, engagement days are more than sharing updates. They create a shared view of where the business is going, why priorities are changing and how different parts of the organisation contribute to that direction. As the business grows, that context becomes increasingly important because experience and perspective only have their full value when they are connected to what is happening around them.
