We’re delighted to welcome Junior Cavan as a Senior Airworthiness and Certification Consultant. SQEP’s Airworthiness & Certification capability continues to expand, bringing exciting opportunities for talented professionals to join our team
With over 37 years’ experience in military aviation, Junior brings deep expertise across operational and engineering domains. His career includes 24 years in the Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm, working on the Sea Harrier and within the Lightning F-35 Integrated Test Force, before moving into key certification roles across industry.
He went on to support Type Certification at AgustaWestland for platforms including the AW159 Wildcat and Super Lynx Mk140, and spent a decade at Boeing Defence UK leading Chinook modification certification and delivering vital capability enhancements into service.
Now at SQEP, Junior will be supporting the Chinook Capability Sustainment Programme (CSP), helping deliver this critical capability to the Royal Air Force.
Junior’s arrival boosts our airworthiness and certification expertise, reinforcing SQEP’s commitment to delivering trusted, high-impact solutions across defence and critical programmes.
