Each year, SQEP selects a charity to support as a focus for the year. Not because we have to, but because it matters to our people.
There is no directive or top down decision making. Just a simple process that asks the team what causes feel most meaningful to them, followed by a shared commitment to support it together.
This year, we’re proud to announce that Alzheimer’s Society has been selected as SQEP’s chosen charity of the year.
What makes this special is not just the charity itself, but everything that happens around it.
People do not simply vote and move on. They organise fundraising activities and involve friends, family and even pets along the way! They give up their time freely and get behind something outside their day-to-day roles because they genuinely care.
… And when our team show up, they go all in.
As Zoe Crisp prepares to take on the role of Charity Chair, she reflected on what this year’s choice represents for the business:
“What I love most is that this is always driven by our people. There is no expectation, yet year after year the team chooses to come together around causes that matter to them personally. As I step into the Chair role, what feels especially exciting is seeing that energy already building around Alzheimer’s Society, with people bringing ideas, enthusiasm and a genuine willingness to get involved. It reflects who we are at SQEP and how we support each other.”
