SQEP welcomes four new starters

Introducing our four new starters this week – who we welcome into four of our Capability Areas.

Hands up who thought SQEP were a bunch of ex RAF veterans with expertise in Airworthiness?

Well, we are that, of course – but we are also so much more! And what better way to illustrate this than to introduce you to our four new starters this week – who we welcome into four of our Capability Areas (Airworthiness being one of them).

So… who are these new SQEPs then? Read on to find out more….

Kate Willan

Katie Willan Senior Consultant, Airworthiness & Certification
Katie came to SQEP from Airbus Defence and Space in Germany, where she was a Safety Engineer for Eurofighter within the Office of Airworthiness, supporting both the joint 4 Nation Programme and the German National Customer. Prior to that she was a DE&S Civil Servant for 14 years with a variety of roles across Engineering Authorities, Safety and Certification. Significant experience includes working with Eurofighter Typhoon and A400M.

Benjamin Fraser Senior Consultant, Cyber and IA
Prior to joining SQEP, Ben spent 13 years in the British Army as a communications specialist providing bespoke communications solutions and technical advice. Upon leaving the military, he stayed within the MOD circle and provided support to one of the MOD security operations centres as a civilian contractor, providing incident response, security event analysis, risk assessment and threat intelligence analysis.

Victoria Marchant Principal Consultant, P3M
Vikki started her career in IT as a Microsoft certified professional; she spent 10 years as a police officer; 11years in MOD as a contractor, working on Typhoon, C130J, C17, JSENS (GBAD), and Type 45 destroyer (all within P3M and Group Lead in Type 45); She did a short stint in the Home office and before joining SQEP, was a PM at AtkinsRealis managing the H3AT ISS fusion project.

Tom McCluskey Senior Consultant, Engineering Support Solutions
Tom brings considerable airworthiness and aircraft maintenance expertise to the team, having served over 38 years as an engineer and engineering officer in the military. During his service, he has served in three CAMOs and most recently with Defence Equipment and Support.
